good base for a new year in zhongshan! near to the downtown, 10 minutes on foot. they have on-site restaurant called il ponte. the pool area is great too.

The room had some serious issues with temperature control, which made it difficult to get adequate rest. the food for breakfast was not satisfactory, and some of it looked like it had been sitting out for too long.

The air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy, and despite calling the front desk for assistance, the issue was not resolved. this minor issue did not detract from my overall fantastic experience at this hotel.

While the breakfast buffet had a large selection of food, some of the items seemed to have been sitting out for too long which made them unappetizing. housekeeping did not always provide enough toiletries or towels when we booked a room for multiple guests, which was a bit frustrating.
